Individuals and families from all over Geraldton took part in this year’s Goodness Festival Treasure Hunt 2017 in a bid to share the goodness within the community and win some awesome prizes.
Some of the prizes on offer included:
• $1000 in cash
• $500 in Vouchers and Prizes
• 5 Tickets to Scitech
• 2 Adult Tickets to Blooming Marvellous Bus Tour
• 2 Tickets to Science Communication Training
We had four awesome teams enter the Goodness Treasure Hunt this year including;
Sylvia Vella from Adventurous Animals said, “Participating in the Treasure Hunt gave our family a wonderful incentive to get out and about to explore places that we may not have been to or stopped at for a long time.”
“The age appropriate science-related discussions we had while exploring look-outs connected with what was being discussed at school and raised questions that I as a parent didn’t know. The whole experience was very enriching for our family,” she said.
Fleur Coaker from the Hydrograph Hippies said, “Geraldton really does have an abundance of Goodness and once you start looking you can find it everywhere! The Goodness Treasure Hunt was a fun way to enjoy all this goodness and at the same time promote our beautiful region and our talented and inspiring community.”
Carina from Riverbend Nuclear Assembly said, “The Riverbend Nuclear Assembly really enjoyed their Goodness Festival Treasure Hunt! The best part was that it got us out and about to rediscover our beautiful area.”
Scinapse would like to say a massive thank you to all the teams who took part in the Goodness Festival Treasure Hunt 2017 and congratulations to winners! Following your Goodness journeys made all our work worth while and we can’t wait for next year’s festivities.
